I'm staying in a motel in So Cal. There was a recent fire in one of rooms. As a result, the room has been gutted and of course, four cables fused together by heat exposure. Pix in one wing are wasted. (daisy chain prewire) I told the maintenence guy I would give him a hand with repairs. Adelphia didn't show up after a service request. ( A call center fiasco).The existing cable is RG6 quad shield.
I'm doing walking out and have no tools nor equipment.
I stopped an Adelphia guy and a DirecTV tech in the field to get 8 fittings from either one but neither were giving them up.
If anyone can help out I would be indebted and I might get a free weeks stay(every penny counts at these gas prices). I'm in Santa Monica but am willing to drive a ways to get the fittings. Thanx
