Way to go, Trey. I'm sure you were instrumental in leading these guys to their overwhelming (53% to 47%) victory. Sure looks like a clear mandate for unionization.
Here is a chance for you to gloat a bit if you like and maybe educate me and some others. These are real questions. I'm really looking for information about something I don't understand.
Now what happens to the 47% of the voters (almost half of those who voted) who did not want to be part of a union? Can they choose not to be part of the union? What about dues? Do they have to pay dues if they did not vote for the union?
Does the union do anything to protect the rights of those who do not want to have any part of the union? What about those who enjoy working at Mastec and want to continue working there, but not as a union employee?.
