Like you said you dont know the specifics, they are nowhere near the same. No employer can make any agreement with an employee that would allow chargebacks.
Many HSP employees have reported they get charged back for phone lines, NCNS, and a few other things. FLSA does not allow this. The employer can suspend or even terminate the worker, but he cant not pay him. Its the EMPLOYERS job to make sure the job is done right. If they are to mis managed to do this, that on them.
