And by the same token, why is it everytime someone posts something in favor of unions that an anti-union company man such as yourself has to chime in with at least one post that uses the words "union", "mob" & "corruption"? It's obvious that you are trying to invoke images in people's minds that all unions are corrupt and connected to the mob when you know they are not.
Like Trey said there are bad people everywhere, in unions and in companies. Nice thing about unions is that the people who run them are elected by the members of the union and someone who is not doing what is best for the members can be voted out. You can't say that about too many companies in this biz can you? Sure the board of directors of some companies may vote who heads the company, but it really doesn't change whose pockets the money goes into and whose it comes out of.
Yes, there are some pretty unscrupulous companies out who will lie to their employees and, who it sometimes seems, will go out of their way to cheat the working men & women out of the pay and benefits they deserve. Then there are those companies who actually value their employees and treat them fairly & equally. A company that treats their employees fairly & equally is a company whose employees have no need for a union. Do you SatSouth think Bruister has treated it's employees fairly & equally?
