Gal union workers dont make prevailing wage, they make more. Prevailing wage is the MINNIMUM a company can pay on a government project. Although union workers can take the credit of keeping the prevailing high because it is determined on the industry avererage of a trade.

Also for the sake of talk here on the bar I will only be talking about unions in the telecom industry. IBEW/CWA represented employees recieve about a $250 uniform allowance, they also receive 100% paid medical from their employers. I dont know what unions you are referring to, but their not IBEW/CWA represented telco or cable workers. Need me to prove it?
