Trey you are a master at twisting my words! I said the only ones who are rich in the Union are the head people. The workers can brag they make prevailing wage, but do they work constantly.....heck no. Take out strikes, dues, benefit costs, gas to get to and from, uniforms, additional training, all kinds of other stuff and the wages are probably very close to the contractor on piece rate. The one thing that both groups lack is protection from bad business ventures. Hey, the union negotiated for the wages they have in the fist place. As soon as they need to remodel the vacation home in the Hampton's, they decide they need to strike and the poor people at the bottom make nothing while they hem and ha about whats fair. I guess the Union should have done a better job reading the original contract they negotiated in the first place and no one would have to suffer.
