Re: Union?

Why has there never been a standardized contract for all these companies to sign? They have you sign all these contracts and you are then at there mercy because that contract was written to protect them ONLY! Seems that if they were not able to hire anyone without signing a contract themselves to protect the contractor then there tunes might change a little.
And I already know that the #1 answer is going to be .......
because they would just hire someone that didn't require one.
So I will save you the trouble by already saying that I mean more longterm , that if everyone required it then they would have no choice and if they were an honest company they wouldn't have a problem as they know your going to get paid. And the ones who continued to refuse are the ones that would be basically saying that they intend to screw you and not pay. At which point your going to knowthat your not going to want to work for them anyway . And know it before you do ANY work for them and are out of pocket.
