Its good to see Verizons pay scale Trey but thats a Cali. job and even $30 an hour in Cali is ho hum. I make almost that much and I'm in the swamp,I suspect whoever is the incumbant catv operator in that area pays his lead techs close to that,who cares about installers,I got two or three calling me daily.Point is a guy who knows his sh-t can make good in catv too,your average cable guy just doesnt want to commit.He dont go home and read tech manuals he doesnt study developing technology he just plods along waiting for 5 o'clock and payday just do what I gotta do to get thru the day.Anybody with this mindset is doomed, I can spot you from a mile away and I'm not gonna spend(waste) my time training you.
