All you have to do is pass a basic electricity/electronic test. Its not hard at all. I have passed Bell systemtech tests twice. Notice the pay is 13-29/hr. If you pass the test but have no exp. you start at the bottom and get progression raises every 6 months. It sually takes 5 years from very top to bottom. Also this is a wage group 1 tittle. Meaning techs who perform POTS work get the same pay. What I like most is how they reward knowledge. If you have certs they honor it by starting you higher on the progression scale. Here if you take the time and money to obtain certs you are not rewarded very well, if at all.
Then notice the rep pay. Thats just about 1000/wk with benefits. 37.5 hrs. Companre that to Gals 6 day a week contractor making 1000/wk. Is it just me, or is something not right here?
