Wow, defensive for a guy who likes to be negative to everybody, on damn near every single post.
You mean to tell me that a hack is not detrimental to the industry? How in the hell would an MSO or HSP pay top dollar for crappy work. I am also aware of all the back charges in the DTV field, most of those from the "primes" you work for.
In my post I believe I was pretty clear when I said, "the industry has gone to s--t", that is what I meant. I was also pretty clear on how, there are still good companies to work for, you just have to do some research and find the right ones.
Don't knock everybody just because you had a single bad experience. In this industry you have to take the good with the bad, and it helps to have a little business sense (since, as a sub-contractor you are running business). I guess it takes being an "old school tech" to know that, not some fly by night sat guy.
