When it really started to get sour I decided to go into business for myself as a prime. If you can find a company like ourselves, and they are out there, then you could easily support a family and then some. We, and companies like us, put technicians first, we know that a happy tech is a good one, we pay a high wage and we never get in the way of family.
Just weigh your options because their are benefits to being a sub and being in-house.
