i'm sure. fiber isn't faster, it has a greater bandwidth and you can increase data transfer rate by increasing your QAM, but that requires better CNR perfomance and that........yeah, i'm sure.

both fiber and coax are transfer mediums of electromagnetic radiation, which all travel at the same speed (+/- 186,000mps). RF travels down coax in a straight line, light bouces around inside the glass. Single Mode is faster than Multi Mode, but coax is faster than either. Trilogy MC2 has a VoP of .93 for instance.
