So now not only does the taxpayer have to fund the Border Patrol to try and keep the illegals out they have to fund the sheriff's hunt for illegals, the prosocution of the one's he catches and the upkeep of those who are convited and housed in the sheriff's jail. There's gotta be a better way.
Maybe we should just round them all up, men, women & children alike, put them in labor camps along the border and force them to build a twenty foot tall concrete wall to keep the others out. And once completed we just free the slaves and let them go back to Mexico.
Come on people. get real. Filling up our jails & prisons with illegals is not going to stop them from coming in, it is only going to further stress and already crowded system and add more burdon to the taxpayer. Just dumping them back across the border isn't working either. There needs to be some serious alternatives to the problem other than further criminalization.
