Again you have not shown any thing to me but your dis plesure of the industry Not that i dont agree with most of what you have said but i have spoke with dtv and there is nothing written say how to install or a directv on install of a phone line dtv agrees most installers are not telephone educated ansd the phone company agrees Im on your side but again show me where it say to install a phone line from under the house to that room and Ill stop answering this post but there is no such mandate .
My interpertation is if theres aphone line there use it . if they have a dvr it works best with it if they have a tivo it needs to talk to the satelite for up dating programing directv does monitor tel .lines for the cx convience and future program not to spy on the cx so lets get it straight and not let an hsp managetr who wants to be the big shot of the day ruin yours
