Extremely valid points you make. But it doesnt take much to qualify for an installer position. You need no education, you need no certs, and many times you need no experience. People who meet or exceed these qualifications are a dime a dozen.

People like you are good for the industry. Its just too bad the industry doesnt return the favor. Instead this an industry that people come to just to get by until jobs in their real proffession open up. With the lax requirements in the business, its perfect for this.
