Re: Gas War


One of the biggest problems to switching to alternative sources of energy is that it is a transition to a form of energy with less yield. This is not the first time humans have converted to a different source of energy. We moved from wood to coal, and from coal to oil. Each one of these transitions was effective and successful because each new transition produced higher amounts of energy with sources that were easier to utilize or produced more energy per volume or at lower cost. The current alternative fuels we want to see come into usage all have less energy output. This will be the first time humans move to an energy source that is less potent.
