First you dont stack a kaku system second it doesnt matter weather yiou have a dvr or not and third homany recievers are yiou using who is this company that is tellingf you wrong you need a switch that excepts all band withs period I dont have the info infront but if your using the new kaku system youre switches are wrong olsd system is also different and were talking 1 yr apart so the type of eq. makes a diffrence
