You pro union guys have the right idea which is to stick together, but there is currently no way to get the MSO's or general contractors to work with you. What I mean is that you can unionize and try to negotiate wages and everything else, but all that will happen is that the companies will stonewall you until you are too tired and too poor to fight on. The only way to get things to really go your way so you can control what you make is to get the job a licensed required trade. Like a plumber or electrician. Not just anybody can show up and replace those guys. You need to be licensed. There are very few licensed electricians and plumbers so they pretty much dictate what they are going to make. (deal)
