I-Stop Probes for tracking ingress
Has anyone used this tool and how does it work. I understand the concept of pressing the button and if the ingress drops 5-6 DB the noise is still ahead of you and if it doesn't you're ahead of it. What I need to know is if a head end unit is needed to use it, or will it work with any SLM with spectrum view. In my case that's an SDA5000. If a head end unit is required, which one. We currently have I believe a 9850 SST for our RSVP's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
