Noise issues??Help:)

I'm having trouble that looks like a noise issue, the problem is at SA older trunk amps(5-40MHz). The thing that is weird though is I'm seeing noise on the reverse out/forward in t.p.(also at reverse module t.p.), but not neccessarily at the node or other amps upstream. Is this due to the amp's noise-figure or possibly a bad return hybrid? I always thought that if You see noise at this point, You should see it upstream. Could You see noise here because of the input connector? Any info on this or anyone familiar w/ reverse issues on older SA (junk) amps is much appreciated. Thanks----CS-----
