I practically wore my DeWalt out drilling through walls. I found a 1/2" (not cordless) Ryobi hammer drill at Home Depot for an amazing $59.00! This sucker is a champ, blows right through practically anything in seconds! I'll put up with the hassle of a cord on a $59.00 drill before I have to replace an 18V DeWalt that costs a couple hundred more.
Besides, with most Ryobi tools, Home Depot has a 2 year warranty... tear it up before the warranty runs out, go get another one..
