i know it's weird to reply under my own reply and that i didn't start this thread, but i want to thank everyone that responded to my post ...........it gives me something to think about and i think that there is a middleground between breaking "the chain of command" (which could be taken as poaching) and eating it on a retrip (which if the problem is truely my fault i EXPECT to run for free).... i'm not sure what that is yet.....but really i would like to hear of some of the policies going round as far as wallfishes, mounting hardware (poles, tripods, etc) and trying to bring installs up to spec on upgrades and service changes...i'm new to dish and even though the prime comes recommended, i can't say i trust a prime i have no feel for.
thanks in advance
