DirecTV has notified the company I contract for that as of May 2006 they may be subject a $5 chargeback on all non-responding IRD's. We will have new work orders that include a phone line waiver for the customer to sign off on when they don't want the phone lines installed. As of yet, we are being told that we will not have to install phone lines for free.
