I have had the pleasure and the displeasure of installing both Cable and Sat. I have always been under the impression that the customer owns the cable that is on his home. But the Cable Company owns up to and inside the Demarcation Enclosure. ( guess thats why they lock it ) Same with Phone, Gas, Electric. If I am wrong I really do not care since I am now not now doing either one to support myself..... Have a day...
