I've often wondered why they didn't check backgrounds on installers around here. After all, these DNS and Directv installers are in peoples bedrooms with jewelry on the dressers and night stands while the customer is in the kitchen or living room. Say someone has a history of B&E or theft, the company would be in for some hassle if the cust. acused the tech of theft . It would look bad in court if the tech had that reputation from the past. You'd think companies would want people that are bondable. I suppose each time you're on an install you are taking a chance of being accused. Even if the cust. had misplaced an item the tech could always be accused.
