The reason SOME of you sound racist is because some show a bias. MAny of you work for, manage, or own a company that violates labor laws that are there to protect workers. These same companies also illegally classify workers as contractors so they can skip out on paying OT and certain taxes to the government. This illegal activity plays a big role in why Comcast, DTV, Charter, and COX have seen revenue growth over the years, but those who install their product have seen nothing but decreases. But most of you approve of these illegal tactics. Some of you feel this is the BEST way to do things because although its illegal, everyone gets to make more money.
On the topic of Mexican illegals you all now want to scream foul. This is one of the reasons some sound like racist. When Americans violate laws that keep wages down nothing is said. Hell, in this industry some of the workers support it! All these install companies not paying the taxes employer are supposed to pay, but nothing is said. If these companies will break the law to save a buck, what makes you think they aren't supporting legislation to give these workers a work visa so they can LEGALLY give them your job and pay them less. Many of you actually support the process you complain about, and it seems the only reason you complain is because there are Mexicans involved.
As long as there are those who seem to only get upset when Mexicans do things illegally that hurt the working man, and not get mad at Americans that break those same laws, you will be viewed by some as being racist.
