We got the best laws money can buy. It woud not take a fortune to get some type of association or non profit organization off the ground. Collect some dues and start promoting our best interests.
Just to kick some rough numbers around:
Start-up:
Form a non profit - $250
Web site creation - $500 to $2000
Merchant Services - $150
Banking - $100
PO Box - $40
Recurring:
PO Box -$40
Filing Fees - $150
Merchant Services - $450
Domain Name - $8
Web Hosting - $100
Tax Returns - $300
Accounting - $600
Start up costs - up to $2500
Annual base recurring costs $1600, dues would cover for subsequent years.
So were looking at 10 people to collaborate in their free time, kick in about $200 each, and hash out a mission statement and initial plan that would be suitable to the majority. If nine other people want to pm me, we will get-r-done.
