not entirely true. an electrician company charges that 60.00 not the electrician himself and IMO the contractor views him/herself as a self employed person and not generaly as a company. looking at the majority of them, how many have an actual office and overhead outside the home? although they may see themselves as a seperate entity, in the business scense, they are still just selfemployed. and therefor they get viewed as such when negotiating a contract.
look at the guy who has let's say 5 guy's, he doesn't go to the top generaly, he goes to the guy down the line or the middle man.which ,as we allknow is lowballing the techs.and it goes on and on.now the guy who doesn't know any better,and is just trying to put food on the table,gets the shaft.is it fair? no. so why do we call him/her bringing down the industry. why not look at all these middlemen who are out there.
the solutions to the issues we face are not going to come easy.
who decides what middleman stays? isn't it the american dream to be self reliant.and prosper?
