Well the reason Bruister is requiring us to run the phone lines is because they get paid from DTV for it. Of course they dont pass any of this income to those who do the actual work. Im in total agreement with you satmanmemphis, I run 100+ foot jumpers from existing outlets all over the house & will continue to do it this way until I am actually paid for an A/O phone line. I figure it this way, im already f'in running a free 2nd line for the DVR, no way in hell im running a phone line too for free. Screw em. ANYONE DOING WORK FOR BRUISTER-- Do not tell them you installed a phone line, Tell them when you are closing that the lines are existing so that we can pass the screwing onto them & stop letting them get paid for it. If enough of us do this, then they will realize that if they dont pay us for it, then they wont get paid either.
