"Mr company" as you put it doesn't give a flying "F" about your pride sure it might give him a sense of comfort knowing you care about what you do and that you do it right, but in the end its about numbers and how you meet those numbers for "THE MAN"
and you think your not replaceable, when "Mr Company" tells you he has 10 people waiting in line for your job at half the cost you better believe he does and wont hesitate to exercise that option the only people on this planet who are irreplaceable are your kids. So it doesn't matter how great you might think you are there will always be someone else who might not be as good will work for less. Its just a sad fact about this Industry and "The Company" as you say, will use them just to get the job done.
