My experience with unions is a 2 to four year apprenticeship at apprentice wages working your way in to journeyman status before the good bucks, which you just earned your way in to, come your way. we're not talking 2 days to 2 weeks ride out training with another "tech" that knows as little or less than you do as far as the technical end of the stick. Unions don't create "hacks"! Low wages and hiring monkies willing to work for low wages, create hacks! The "suits" as a few call themselves, job is to convince you of how worthless you are and how happy you should be for whatever crumbs they may toss your WAY. I believe some on this forum may be afraid they may actually have to educate themselves to justify the monies they are now obtaining! I don't know, maybe there is a floor sweepers union that's giving some an attitude about unions and hacks.!?! Later, Mike M.
