The beauty of piece work & production is that no one is limiting you to 40 hours. You work as much as you want. If you don't understand this concept, get out before you further poison a dying breed.
A true production employee (construction, splicers & sweepers)is not going to "clock in" while building parts, straps & spacers, ect., & will try to squeeze that one more piece in for the day. Start telling these type of men & women they have to stop at 40 hours. They'll be done by Wednesday.
Don't wreck a good thing.
40 hours....just getting warmed up.
