Re: Need some advice from the pro's

If you are a sub from a prime contractor and with "NO" results from him, start with the guy that the prime has His contract with. Time is very important, you can file a mechanics lien on the customer, in other word the prime can't get paid until you get paid. No customer wants a sub contractor in his office bitching about NOT getting paid. Lawyers don't help much, you would loose what is due you by paying the lawyer, unless we are talking big $$$$$ but I wouldn't guess so.

Any sub contractor should walk away if not paid within 30-45days, never go beyond 45 days.

I paid by percentage, you want paid weekly-more percentage taken out, you want to wait 45-60 like I have to-the more percentage you will also get. Were all in this together, any smart prime contractor should understand that a sub is just an extension of his people and should be treated as such.

GOOD LUCK-Take Care
