I believe it's either England or the Brits who run our ports now. But being that the UAE bought out this company, they are supposed to automatically take over everything the prior company had... including the US Ports.
I think this is a bad move. Even thought the UAE is somewhat of an ally to us, they have had people linked to terrorism.
If Bush let's this go through, then he really is a money grubbing moron. The only reason he would let this fly is because of oil. It will be easier for him.... errr the United States to get oil and cheaper at that.
I'm sorry, but this is a democracy... or at least it's supposed to be. This decision should be left to the LEGAL American citizens... meaning we, the people, should vote on this.
But again, bottom line is, this is about big money. That's all this country is.... BIG MONEY.
