If one is serious about subbing and wants to make a decent dollar at it, appearence and ability to carry out the work in a proper manner mean alot.
If the prime your working for just doesn't give a rats arse about what bodies he or she is using to fill route quota, or how those bodies represent his or her company, I suggest you find somebody who values how you represent their company and you'll see your treated in a whole different light.
Sometimes you just have to say "NO" I'm not interested in working for you, have a nice day.
As a sub I find there is plenty of work out there for somebody who knows what they are doing and doesn't act like gods gift to cable while driving their soccer mom grocery getter.
