I live inland in polk county in a house built in the 50,s I dont expect to loose my home some small hints 1-stock up on ice 2-keep plenty of water.I HAVE A WELL AND SEPTIC TANK. 3 buy a generator. 4-fill all vehicles with gas and stock extra gas as much as you will need for at least two weeks.stock up on food at least two weeks worth canned and frozen.prepare your home as best you can.keep chain saw and tarps on hand.when its all over help your family and neighbors thru the aftermath.if you live on the coast come to my house dont be hard HEADED and stay to protect your material things.god willing you will be able to return to see whats left.
