Re: Hold times


Not a bad idea you got there. I think I'll give that one a try this year :)

We're lucky that we have an ARU (automated phone system) to close jobs out on. Can even add/remove boxes from customer accounts. The only thing we CAN'T do is add/remove modems or telephony boxes.

I got tired of the on-hold time a long time ago. Now I just close damn-near everything out on the automated phone. Yea.... it splits the W/O and creates a duplicate sometimes in the computer, but dispatch closes the duplicates out when I log-out for the night.

I hope one day everything can be done over an automated phone system, that way dispatch can thin out some of the "Retard Squad" that always seems to answer my calls.
