What about a union Robert or a union Al or a union Bob? Its "steward", as in "union or shop steward", not "union Stuart".
"Scare Tactics", isn't that a program on the SciFi channel? Your the only one I see in this thread using "scare tactics".
Most of the pro-union comments I have read have dealt with unionizing for the purpose of maintaining the employee's current income & benefit levels in the face of major changes & cuts being instituted by many of the Directv HSP companies, not asking the company to give them more.
Much of what you are saying is unfounded (merely a creation of your own paranoid mind or conjured up from myths and old movies) and often off subject (the subject of unionizing presented in this forum has primary been about HSP satellite employees not satellite or cable contractors). Face it, you have no real idea what a union can or cannot do for an HSP employee, you are just affraid that it may in some way have a negative impact on your job (whatever your job really is).
