Last night I was talking with a young bad as.s lineman . When he was bragging I told him of a friend of mine Michael Lockheart ,Wayne Blanchards newphew ,that use to come down off a pole ascending down and only tag it about every 18" looking almost like falling . He said he knew a lineman whos name I won't call because he doesn't need glory , that could drop his hard hat and catch it before it hit the ground , Tagging the pole every 36" . If this is so I think this would be a good competition for the Demonstrations part of the party . Maybe I could even preclude a hooks manufactures to sponsor the event. My question to everyone is what have you seen? Can someone actually ascend this fast without falling??
