tempo has a toner that passes thru splitters, model is 402 T.
it costs a little more but pays for itself quickly.
Keep your batteries fresh, turn off transmitter when not in use, & dont yank the unit off the wallplate.
protect the probe on the reciever, they are sensitive & get beat up quickly if you toss them in a tool bag where they bounce around. You can buy replacement probes if it wears out. Clean the metallic strip on the circuit board & make sure the new probe is tight. Be careful not to strain the wire leads in the unit & dont pinch them when replacing the cover.
