After returning from Alaska where I had went to finally earn some good monies, I have finally determined that there is no monies to be earned here in the Richmond, Va. area in either cable or Satalitte installations. I have applied at this Utility Locating Company ( Miss Utility ). They provide the truck, tools. and some benefits. Its an 8-5 position also and I will be making 13.00 an hour to start. Hopefully I am making a positive move for my future.
As far as Alaska...I still would be there I think if my Mom didn't start having heart problems again. You know how it is when your Ma gets sick. Got to drop everything and get to her side just in case it ends up going for the worse. She is doing better now but still is expecting to pass in the not so near future.
