Re: Return setup for amps

ok, more info..

again sorry I'm rather new with cable company.

This problem we are having seems to be a random problem.
Heres an example - I have a customer that I personaly ran RG 6 drop and house cable to the computer o/t. I placed a 2 way splitter at the ground block. The singal at the o/t is average 5s across the board.

Ok now from the Tap... Backtracking it goes through a DC coupler, then the fiber node.. From there no stops untell Headend. Yet she is running a 50 transmit. That just seems rather High for being so close to the node.

another example same node. again all new RG 6 ran, one tap, Trunk amp, DC coupler -12 down leg, then the Node. (again same node as first example) this customer is running 58 transmit. boarderline.....

both of these custs are on the same block different allys... so from the trunk amp its one block to the node.. Real close.

PS I just installed another moden same tap as second example, its running 55 transmit..

thanks, jeff
