Dude I totally agree I've been doing cable for about ten years. They run you into the ground and work you long long hours. And they could care less about you. The pay is getting worse and they add more to your work load and don't increase the pay. I contract for cox and they suck. They treat the contracters like crap. They go by a stupid point system and inhouse get a 110pts as were contracters end up pushing 200 to 300pts. That could be 3 8-10s,2 10-12s,2 1-3s,3 3-5s or more . Then when all of your points are filled up in the morning the throw on 5 to 30 more jobs. I don't know who's smoking the crack pipe but they need to put it down and step back from the computer. Thats when you start have QC problems. I don't me to complain but I'm burn out and I don't even enjoy my work any more. So I'm going to change to sat. I'ts busy out here and more to come. I have freinds who do sat and they love it better hours and pay. Well gota go. peace out and stay out of trouble.
