I'm not disputing anyones word...but we have never had a problem. We've also assured them that we will be there to clean up our mistakes...as you know alot of contractors come in and put the screws on a prime. I'm not saying that's what happened with the other poster...I don't know his situation. But I think its reasonable for a prime to hold retainage until they know everything is ok (not over a month)...then they should release the money. Unfortunately there are a lot of primes that put the screws on contractors too. Sometimes its a no win situation. We've not had that problem with Daniel Utility and I hope we never do. So far it's been a pleasure doing business with them and I can point you in the direction of alot of contractors that feel the same way.
