Re: hsp standards

WOW.. I can tell you this, OPIE is one of the best installers I know. He has shed some light on this for everyone. BUT.. All HSP's are held to the standards that we all should be installing to. If a tech was doing an install at your house, you would want it that way wouldnt you? As far as grounding, well the HSP requirements are only to meet NEC standards. (which vary from state to state). The phone line to every box is a DTV mandated thing. It is not something only HSP's should be doing. Every time you goto a customers home it should be treated like it is your own home. We all must stand behind our work, and gaurantee it for 30 days. Every install is a service that someone bought and would like to enjoy without having to call to get it repaired. The HSP does 100% of the upgrades, movers, service calls, and depending on location and state 80 to 90% of the installs in their geographical areas. Hey Opie... who gives you your checks buddy...? You work in an HSP and you make money! Your check is always on-time. No drama.. Later Op..
