but isn't that the way it is with every job.
you know the scope of work going in and you know what is expected of you.at every job.did installs change?
did scheduling around customers change?NO.
have prices dropped? YES,and i'll say it again LOOK AT THE REAL REASON WHY. and yes there are people who care if you get paid.
heres a fact for you.
i was in MS in oct 2005, we weren't getting paid by who we were suppose to. iwent to the cable manager and informed him of our situation and he call the prime. keep in mind this was not the prime responsability to pay us. the prime was told what was going on, and he stepped in. he got us money.not all but damn near everything. it wasn't even his fricken job to pay us.
there, that cable company was CABLE ONE and the prime was MAD DAWG.
i tried not to name company names, but these are the FACTS!!!
now tell me no one cares.give me some more BULLS***.it's kinda like the UNIONS isn't it trey. you got some good and you got some bad.
you hand me this sh** about that, "there are good unions and there are bad" then turn right around and neglect the fact that yhere is the same with companies.that whole " take the good with the bad" goes both fricken ways, don't it.
now then let me ask you this.
if the union cause in this inustry is so greatly needed, why then don't you join, along with the others that agree with you and pay your dues even though you claim to be a contractor? go down to the local in your area and join. it's that simple.
