As far as owning a business, I have own{ed} three of them before. And all I know as a business owner is that people like sumahit are great employees{or would be a sub contractor if he worked for me}, the worse you treat them, the better they work.
Pride is a very profitable market.
They will cut anyone throat to maintain that they are the best{even their own}, and will outwork themselves for the title.
This mentality seems very patriotic, but if we always put ourselves second, we would all have British accents, and be drinking tea right now.
But you have to remember that this is a nationwide message board too, and sometimes very little in one place, is a whole lot in another.
Down south houses are like $20,000 with almost no state taxes or winters, so a tech is making good coin down there, and probably wonder why everyone up here is bitching.
