I had no Idea this would have boggled so many minds. The fact is that each lineman chipped in $9.00 for a total of $27.00
$25.00 went to the room and $2.00 for the tip. In the question stated before the "tip" was mentioned twice, making it sound as though there was a dollar unacounted for.
