This is my observation on the difference between mngmt and techs. The company's management is already "organized" and working together. The technician's look at each other as competitors instead of a team, so the tech's are alienated from any bargaining and whatever changes management sends down, the tech's are poised to take it.
So in closing, the technician's ignorant mind set keeps him under the man's thumb.
