Just something for you guys to chew on. Yes unions are tradionally for employees. BUt there are cases where independents have had success in this area. This industry is so interesting because although many of us are contractors some of us are treated like employees under the eyes of the law. Remember, just because you or the person you contract with considers you to be a contractor doesnt really mean you are. But the biggest thing is that we all are pieces of the pie that makes up this industry. In order for us all to grow, just treatment and some form of checks and balances is a must. If you dont have these things, you get what we have now. An industry that has boomed since its conception and workers in this industry that have seen nonthing but pay cuts since its conception.
